Cheshire East Council will, apparently, be publishing the Core Strategy for further public consultation from 5th November for 6 weeks. We need as many people as possible to respond to this with their objections.

The Core Strategy, (Local Plan) has now been published for consultation. 'Site Sandbach 1' has now become 'CS24'. The number of houses has increased to 450 in this version. As many people as possible need to lodge their objections. Sandbach Town Council has recently discussed their response and agreed on no houses on this site - employment only. Go to the Cheshire East Council website, click on 'Local Plan' and follow instructions - you will need to register and log in - not easy to follow by any means. We intend to set up a petition so that people who do not have access to the internet will be able to make their views known.
