You will all have seen the 'Masterplan' for Site - Sandbach 1 which appeared as a submission in the CEC draft Development Strategy Consultation.
Michael Jones, Leader of CEC, Totally refutes the suggestion by Barrett Homes that they have been involved in pre-application discussions with them.
According to Paul wakefield, Planning Officer, an outline planning application for a business park and up to 250 houses is being submitted soon - watch this space!
A copies of the 'Masterplan' will soon be posted around the Heath.

Has anybody come forward to distribute the copies of the 'Masterplan', and where are they going to be displayed.

Can anyone volunteer to help place these laminated maps that we have of Sandbach 1 site. We have over 20 and need to get these displayed.
Dawn Lloyd-Griffiths has one to place so that the public can see what the developers plan to do to the green fields of Sandbach Heath.
Please get in touch with me if you know where we can place one or two of these.
Thank you.

An A3 copy was fixed to the fence off Church Lane in the gateway/public footpath entrance, but the next day this was gone. Someone might have removed it, but if this has blown away, could we staple a copy to the wooden fence to make it more secure.
Thanks

Re: Missing A3 copies. I've noticed that the one at the top of Skeath Close has gone "missing" a couple of times. They reappeared though but, it went "missing" again and, has never appeared again since. (I also noticed they kept being taken in Church Lane and, that led me to think there was some sort of mmmmm, just let's say "anti SHNF" faction going round taking and, not to read them either! (I could be being paranoid of course).

Regarding the missing 'masterplans'. I know why the Church Lane one was taken down. Initially I understand that Barbara took it down and placed it somewhere else and it blew away. I then placed another plan on the sub station gates. This one was taken down by a house that is up for sale and they took it down because they didn't want anyone viewing to be put off by a prospective big estate on their doorstep. I don't know if they kept the masterplan. I don't know what happened to the Skeath Close plan. These things happen, but most have been up for a while and I think that most people know that we are destined to have a massive development on the back of us that will wipe out our green space. However the fight is not over yet!
